Established in January 2001, Warshauer Tech at Warshauer Electric is a continuing education program that is fully accredited by the State of New Jersey and every class is taught by a certified instructor. All attendees receive a C.E.U. (Continuing Education Unit) for each hour of class they attend. These C.E.U.s can be applied to the New Jersey State requirement that all licensed electrical contractors receive (34) hours of continuing education during the next triennial registration period (4/1/09 - 3/31/12). Nine of these (34) hours must be 2011 code update and (1) hour must be state statutes and laws. Electrical contractors may “carry over” a maximum of (8) extra continuing education hours from one triennial period to the next; not including code update hours. All Electrical Contractors must keep copies of their continuing education certificates on hand for (7) years for auditing purposes. Warshauer Electric Supply will not be responsible for lost or misplaced certificates. There may be a maximum of (75) attendees at any state-approved continuing education course The state strictly enforces the (75) person limit per class. Warshauer Electric’s state-approved courses are being offered at five locations.
