This course is essential for contractors who are serious about getting into the growing solar industry. This 10 week course will teach you the skills necessary to design and safely install 2 types of solar electric systems: grid-connected and off-grid PV systems. The course will also cover safety practices for installers, various mounting systems for PV arrays and how they affect roofs, and the requirements of the National Electrical Code (NEC) for PV systems.
